He was a petitioner in the Supreme Court challenging the constitutional validity of Section 377 representing Pravritti, a pan-IIT LGBT group and an intervenor in the marriage equality petitions before the Delhi High Court. Interestingly, when she joined IndianOil in 1994, she remained the only female executive in the Refinery at Mathura for several years. The challenging Industrial Relations experience in a Refinery environment in early years of her career sowed the roots of her interest in the subject of Diversity and Inclusion.
Over the years, Rashmi has carved out her career path as an IR expert who is known for her result focused, collaborative and inclusive initiatives. She has worked in various segments of HR including Industrial Relations, compensation management, performance management, staffing, recruitment, policy formulation, succession planning, systems management, audit etc. After an initial stint at Mathura Refinery, she moved to the Headquarters of Refineries Division of IOCL at Delhi where she spent another decade in a completely new profile of Human Resource Development and HR policy implementation. For last over five years, she has led various strategic initiatives at the apex Corporate office of IndianOil. Besides having conceptualized a unique innovation cell “Srijan” in the corporation for the first time, she was responsible for roll out of enterprise wide SAP solutions in HR and multiple landmark settlements with the collectives including long term wage settlements with 25 Unions of IOCL. It shall be apt to mention that during COVID times, she has revisited and revised numerous policies making them in sync with the needs of the occasion and more specifically, catering to the concerns of diversity, inclusion and well-being.
She is now bringing transformation in the areas of HRD and Talent Acquisition and is planning the roll-out of an integrated performance management system coupled with end-to-end implementation of succession planning framework.

Mr. Suresh Narayanan has over 36 years of rich and exhaustive experience in the FMCG Industry and has held Senior Management and Top Leadership roles in leading global companies.
Mr. Narayanan joined Nestlé in 1999 as Executive Vice President for Sales in India, where he spearheaded major structural and strategic changes in Sales and Customer Management and set up the chilled dairy business. He moved to Nestlé Indochina in 2003, as Executive Director for Sales, Marketing and Food-Services, covering the countries of Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam.
