Rajeev Dubey

Rajeev Dubey is the Group President (HR & Corporate Services) & CEO (After-Market Sector), Member of the Group Executive Board, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. His key focus areas are Human Capital initiatives of the Group, the After-Market businesses whose CEO’s report to him, Group Communications, Government Relations, CSR and Infrastructure. He is the Chairman of Mahindra Insurance Brokers, Mahindra Steel Service Centres and Mahindra First Choice Services, and serves on the Boards of several Group companies including Ssangyong Motors Korea, Mahindra Intertrade and Mahindra First Choice Wheels. He is Chairman of the Group CSR Council and the Corporate Governance Cell, and a Member of the Governing Council of the Mahindra Institute of Quality and the Governing Board of Mahindra Ecole Centrale.

Dr Soumya Swaminathan

Soumya Swaminathan was most recently WHO's Chief Scientist and before that, Deputy Director-General for Programmes. A pediatrician from India and a globally recognized researcher on tuberculosis and HIV, she brings with her 30 years of experience in clinical care and research and has worked throughout her career to translate research into impactful programmes. Dr Swaminathan was Secretary to the Government of India for Health Research and Director General of the Indian Council of Medical Research from 2015 to 2017. In that position, she focused on bringing science and evidence into health policy-making, building research capacity in Indian medical schools, and forging south-south partnerships in health sciences. From 2009 to 2011, she also served as Coordinator of the UNICEF/UNDP/World Bank/WHO Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases in Geneva. She received her academic training in India, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, and has published more than 480 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. She is a Fellow of the US National Academy of Medicine, the Academy of Medical Sciences of the UK and a Fellow of all the science academies in India. She has received several honorary doctorates, including from Karolinska institute, EPFL, Lausanne and the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. She serves on several national and global advisory bodies and committees. She is an adjunct Professor at Karolinska university in Sweden and Tufts university in Boston, USA. As WHO’s inaugural Chief Scientist, Dr Swaminathan built the Science division with a focus on research, quality assurance of norms and standards and digital health. She played a key role during the pandemic in coordinating scientific efforts at the WHO, as well as in setting up Covax, with a focus on equitable vaccine distribution to LMICs.

Ranjan Banerjee

Dr. Ranjan Banerjee is an alumnus of IIT Bombay and IIM Calcutta and has a doctoral degree from Carlson School of Management, USA. His doctoral thesis won a global award for the best dissertation in B2B Marketing from the ‘Institute for the Study of Business Markets’, Penn State University, USA. He has worked with leading FMCG companies like Asian Paints, Vadilal and HUL. He was the Founder-CEO of Renaissance Strategic Consultants before becoming the Dean of SPJIMR between June 2015 – March 2021. The institute made rapid strides under his leadership and in 2020, made it to the 36th position globally in the Financial Times Masters in Management ranking, placing third in India. He has been teaching courses on Marketing, Strategy, Behavioural Economics, Innovation & Design Thinking at leading Indian and international institutes including IIM Calcutta, SPJIMR, The Carlson School, University of Minnesota, Nyenrode, Holland. EBS , Germany, SMU, Singapore, Ashoka University and BITSoM. He has typically been rated as one of the top teachers in every institute he has taught in, receiving perfect median feedback scores (7/7 on all dimensions) for one of his marketing courses at The Carlson School and a perfect score (10/10 on all dimensions) for many of his corporate workshops. He has co-authored a best-selling book with the noted business leader and author, R Gopalakrishnan on ‘The Made in India Manager’ which was published in November 2018. He has been a TEDx speaker and has been a keynote speaker at multiple national and international forums. The book ‘The Made in India Manager’ was recently awarded the Institute of Directors award for the best book in the Corporate Excellence category. His research has been presented at Harvard Business School, University of Michigan, HEC Paris, Macquarie University etc. His work has been published in Harvard Business Review , Psychology and Marketing, Economic and Political Weekly, Handbook of Business to Business Marketing etc. Dr. Banerjee has been awarded The IAC award for "Change Maestro and Institution Builder of the Year" which was selected by a distinguished jury of academics and corporate leaders. He has been nominated on the global boards of GMAC (The Graduate Management Council) and UNPRME (The Principles for Responsible Management Education which is a United Nations supported initiative). He was the only nominee from Indian academia on both these boards. Dr. Banerjee joined BITSoM in April 2021, a new world class business school under the aegis of BITS Pilani, in April as its founding Dean. BITS Pilani is a deemed university, and has been recognized as an Institute of national eminence by the Government of India. He will also serve as a Professor of Marketing and will teach the core Design Thinking course in the first year, as well as electives in marketing. BITSoM faculty are drawn from the best institutes across the world including NYU, Kellogg, Wharton, Cornell etc and has already made a mark in its very first year.

Rajesh Chandwani

Dr. Rajesh Chandwani is an Associate Professor in the Human Resource Management area at IIM A. He is the Chairperson of the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD). He has been the Chairperson of the Centre for Management of Health Services (CMHS) at IIM Ahmedabad. He is a Fellow of IIM Bangalore. Previously, after completing his MD (Pediatrics) from Baroda Medical College, he has served as a Pediatrician in public health institutions in rural and urban areas. He has wide ranging interest in the human resource management and technology issues and challenges in the service sector, specifically in the Indian healthcare sector. Particularly, current research interests include the use of Information technology to enhance the effectiveness of healthcare personnel and healthcare delivery. He also has particular interest in mindfulness based strategic decision making.

SV Nathan

Nathan is the co-founder and CEO of Visara Consulting, focusing on Human Capital Advisory and enterprise development work. He was the former CHRO of Deloitte South Asia where he was a member of the India leadership team and also of Deloitte Global Talent Leadership.
Nathan has over 40 years of experience in HR management in Indian and MNCs across diverse industries including Manufacturing, Services, Telecom, IT and Professional Services.
A respected voice of the HR profession in India, Nathan was featured in all National events of significance related to HR. He has been recognized as a ‘Distinguished Alumnus’ by XLRI by his Alma Mater. He is recognised as one of the top 20 Influencers of HR, 2024 by Economic Times HR.
He served as the immediate past President of National Human Resources Development Network, the largest body of HR Professionals in the country. He has also served as the Chairman of Sumedhas, an academy of human context.
A TEDx speaker, Nathan is an author of a bestseller ‘The HeArt of work’. He is a regular blogger, an HR Power Influencer on LinkedIn and Twitter, and is well known for his ‘#OfficeTruths’. He is known as an engaging storyteller.
